I-- we,your grandmother and I -- would like to meet Millie sometime also. Uless you guys ever get to this section of the country it doesn't look possible, though. We have reached the point in life where travel is out of the question because of your gandmothers back -- she has a couple of colapsed disks that don't allow her to ride in cars or airplanes for long periods, and a digestive problem that requires special food treatment. Betty Davis, the actor, said that 'Getting old aint for sissies'. She was right.

I've been hearing about the new processors,I think. They are double layers, or something like that, and are supposed to be much faster? Anyway, I expect to keep the stock.

Keep up the running. It's great that you do it together. You can encourage each otrher. You'll appreciate having done it when you get older. Also watch your calories. That's where most of the damage is done.

Don't worry about it -- I'm not offended, because we get this question all the time. The reason I made my response into a post is because I fully expect the same question to come from others as well.

I hope you guys get the chance to meet Millie, because I'm sure that you will really like her.

Hang on to that Intel stock -- it's been in decline lately, but I really think things will pick up when the new processors come out later this year...

Oh boy, josh! I'll bet I'm in hot water now. That's what comes from speaking before you think. :-( I should mind my own business. You and Millie are adults and capable of making your own decisions.Your mother may not speak to me now. Well, it's done now. Yes, I did write it myself, with help from Ms. Shaw. I think that probably the most importaint thing to get out of what I was trying to say is that, outside of the idea that society expects certain behaviors from us all, might be the idea that there needs to be a safety net built into any relationship that protects the rights of both the the man and the woman -- and incidentally, the children -- from the vagries of bad luck, loss of a partner, loss of jobs, etc.

I still don't understand why the piece didn't make it in the blog, but I'm obviously no expert on the subject. I'm glad you know.

By the way, I know you don't want to talk about the details of your work, but you need to know that I own stock in Intel -- so go Josh!
